Day 1 (LD): Wagga Wagga to Katoomba via Lithgow – Sunday, 10^th March 2024

This morning we greet each other and climb aboard as we make our way up into the Blue Mountains for a lovely getaway, with scenic views, beautiful gardens, and many other attractions to make for a fun filled, relaxing trip. We start our day bright and early, departing Wagga Wagga and heading for Cowra. Here we will stop for our morning tea and a walk around the beautiful Japanese Gardens. After stretching our legs, we will head on Lithgow. Here we will enjoy our lunch before a quick tour of the town and then make our way to the incredible, historic ZigZag Train. following our 90-minute round trip aboard the marvellous steam locomotive, we will once more hop back on the bus for the last leg of the journey to Katoomba, for dinner and our accommodation for the next 2 nights.

Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains, 2 Nights

Day 2 (BLD): Exploring the Blue Mountains – Monday, 11^th March 2024

Today we wake up, refreshed by the mountain air, and eat a hearty breakfast at the resort. Then it’s time to explore these beautiful mountains. We start our day at Scenic World, where there are so many experiences for you to choose from. You can take a ride on the world’s steepest railway, hop on the southern hemisphere’s steepest aerial cable car, sail high above the treetops on the Beyond Skyway cable car, or walk through the many varying skywalks and boardwalks. After a well-deserved lunch, we will hop back on the bus for a tour around Katoomba visiting many more incredible lookouts over the valleys and ranges, as well as the Leura Gardens Park. After our day of breathtaking sights and tranquil forest walks, we head to dinner and then back to the resort for a good night’s sleep.

Day 3 (BL): Return to Wagga Wagga – Tuesday, 12^th March 2024

Before we check out this morning, we will enjoy one more delicious breakfast at the resort. Then we bid farewell to the Blue Mountains and start our journey back to Wagga. Our first stop will be in Bathurst. First, we will take a lap around the iconic Mount Panorama Raceway, then a quick tour around the town and a chance to grab some morning tea. Then we will continue to Blaney for lunch, before getting back on the road, making our way home.
