Day 1(LD): WAGGA WAGGA TO SINGAPORE – Tuesday, 7th July 2026
Welcome to our wonderful Singapore tour! We meet our fellow passengers bright and early and journey to Melbourne Airport ready to board our direct flight to Singapore. Departing at 3:40pm it will take us approximately 7 hours and 40 minutes to arrive at Changi International airport at 9.30pm. We are welcomed by our local guide who will transfer us to our accommodation. This will be our base for the duration of our time in Singapore, so no need to repack again until we depart for home. Enjoy a light supper in your room.

Day 2 (BD): EXPLORING SINGAPORE – Wednesday, 8th July 2026
After a relaxed morning our tour through Singapore’s iconic landmarks begins with a visit to the Waterfront Promenade to the famous Merlion Park. Here, you encounter the iconic Merlion statue, a mythical creature with a lion’s head and a fish’s body, symbolizing Singapore’s origins as a fishing village and its name ‘Singapura,’ meaning Lion City. The Merlion spouts water into the bay, creating a perfect backdrop for photos. Next, head to the historic district of Kampong Glam, where the majestic Sultan Mosque stands. With its massive golden dome and stunning architecture, the mosque is a significant symbol of the Muslim community in Singapore. The nearby Haji Lane, with its vibrant street art, trendy boutiques, and quirky cafes, offers a delightful contrast, making it an ideal spot to explore and soak in the eclectic atmosphere. Your itinerary continues with a visit to the colonial heart of the city, where the Raffles Hotel stands as a testament to Singapore’s rich colonial history. This grand, white building exudes old-world charm and elegance. Next, we visit bustling Bugis Street Market, one of the largest and most famous street markets in Singapore. Wander through the maze of stalls, where you can find an eclectic mix of fashion, accessories, souvenirs, and electronics at bargain prices. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to find lunch and do some shopping before meeting up again and returning for dinner at our hotel.

Day 3 (BD): CHINATOWN – LITTLE INDIA – BOTANICAL GARDENS – Thursday 9th July 2026
Today, we explore more of Singapore, starting with a visit to the vibrant district of Chinatown. The streets are lined with beautifully restored shophouses, each boasting colorful facades and intricate architectural details. Stroll through the narrow lanes and discover a variety of traditional shops selling everything from exotic spices and medicinal herbs to intricate Chinese calligraphy and paper lanterns. Next, a visit to vibrant Little India, a district that embodies the rich cultural tapestry of the Indian community. As you enter Little India, you are immediately greeted by a riot of colors, aromatic scents, and bustling streets. Wander through the lively Serangoon Road, where traditional Indian shops line the streets, offering everything from intricate saris and glittering jewelry to fragrant spices and exotic fruits. Make your way to the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, one of the oldest Hindu temples in Singapore. Adorned with ornate carvings and vibrant statues of Hindu deities, the temple is a visual feast. Continue your exploration by visiting the bustling Tekka Centre, where you can browse through a vast array of fresh produce, spices, and traditional Indian delicacies. Don’t miss the chance to sample some local delights for lunch such as thosai (savory pancakes), biryani, refreshing lassi or Little India’s famous Banana Leaf Restaurant. After lunch, we retreat to the tranquility of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. This lush, sprawling oasis in the heart of the city offers a serene escape from the urban hustle. As you enter the gardens, take a leisurely stroll along the shaded pathways, discovering themed gardens such as the Healing Garden, Fragrant Garden, and Evolution Garden. A highlight of your visit is the National Orchid Garden, home to over 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrids of orchids. As you wander through the garden, you’ll also encounter the VIP Orchid Garden, where orchids named after visiting dignitaries and celebrities are displayed. We return to our hotel to rest up and relax before meeting your fellow travellers for dinner.

Day 4 (BD): FLOWER & FORREST DOME –LIGHT & SOUND SHOW – Friday 10th July 2026
A memorable experience to say the least we head to the iconic Gardens by the Bay, home to the stunning Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. Begin your visit with the Flower Dome, a vast, air-conditioned conservatory that replicates the cool-dry climate of Mediterranean regions. As you step inside, you are greeted by a breathtaking array of flowers and plants from around the world. Wander through themed gardens such as the Olive Grove, South African Garden, and Australian Garden, marveling at the vibrant colors and diverse plant species. Seasonal displays ensure that there is always something new and exciting to see, making each visit a unique experience. From the Flower Dome, make your way to the Cloud Forest, an indoor mountain covered in lush vegetation and shrouded in mist. As you enter, you are immediately struck by the sight of the towering Cloud Mountain, a 35-meter-tall structure covered in orchids, ferns, and mosses. Take a leisurely stroll along the Cloud Walk and Treetop Walk, elevated walkways that offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The cool, moist environment replicates the conditions of tropical highland regions, providing a refreshing contrast to the city’s tropical heat. For dinner tonight, we visit Hopscotch restaurant before the sun begins to set, when we prepare to be mesmerized by the Garden Rhapsody, Singapore’s renowned light and sound show at the Supertree Grove. Find a comfortable spot beneath the towering Supertrees, and as darkness falls, watch in awe as the trees come alive with a dazzling display of lights and music. The synchronized show transforms the gardens into a magical wonderland, with the Supertrees illuminated in a myriad of colors, dancing to the rhythm of the music. The enchanting spectacle provides a perfect finale to your day of exploration, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Singapore’s vibrant culture, stunning horticulture, and magical nightscapes.

Day 5 (B): SINGAPORE GARDEN FESTIVAL – Saturday, 11th July 2026
The biennial Singapore Gardens Festival brings together the top award-winning landscapes and garden designers, florists and horticulturists from around the world to team up with Singapore’s own talented horticulturalist. Be enchanted by exquisite garden and floral displays and experience the magic and wonder of the world of garden and floral design. Further details on this day to follow, as the festival is organized.

Day 6 (B): HOMEWARD BOUND – Sunday, 12th July 2026
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and visit Katong & Joo Chiat and Peranakan Mansion. The heritage neighbourhoods of Katong and Joo Chiat, an area that offers one of Singapore’s glimpses into the island’s multicultural past. Strolling through Joo Chiat Road, the atmosphere feels both nostalgic and vibrant as your guide shares stories of the early Peranakan families who settled here, explaining how Katong evolved into a prosperous residential enclave renowned for its culture, cuisine and distinctive architecture. Finally, we visit the Peranakan Museum. A lovingly restored home surrounded by richly carved furniture, colourful porcelain, intricate beadwork slippers and elaborately embroidered kebayas, each piece carefully displayed in its original domestic context. Our tour ends as we sadly say goodbye to Singapore as we are transferred to Changi International airport to board our flight departing at 7:00pm.

Day 7 (BL): MELBOURNE TO WAGGA WAGGA – Monday, 13th July 2026
Upon arriving at Melbourne airport at 4:20am and after clearing all formalities, we are met by our coach and transported back to Wagga Wagga with a stop along the way for a small bite to eat. Arriving back home, we bid you farewell and look forward to our next journey together.
