Day 1 (LD): WAGGA WAGGA TO YARRAWONGA – Tuesday, 8^th December 2026

Welcome to our 3-day summer getaway to the award-winning Sebel Yarrawonga overlooking Lake Mulwala. Leaving Wagga Wagga, we head to the Corowa Distilling Company for morning tea. From Corowa we visit the heritage-listed Savernake Station. The 1886 Homestead is perched gracefully atop a sandhill, offering views of the surrounding native forest. We take a look at the Woolshed and Shearers’ Quarters, dating back to 1912 which have been meticulously preserved to maintain their original functionality while offering a glimpse into a bygone era. For lunch we head into Mulwala and stop at the Club, then in the afternoon visit Rich Glen Yarrawonga Provedore. Located in the heart of Yarrawonga, experience a tasting of regional produce and explore artisan olive oils, dressings, condiments, wines, cheese and gin.  A great way to end the day before heading to our stunning hotel.

Day 2 (BLD): EXPLORING THE REGION – Wednesday, 9^th December 2026

Following a relaxing breakfast, we travel to the historic Byramine Homestead. This fascinating colonial house was built in the early 1820s by Elizabeth Hume, sister-in-law of Hamilton Hume the explorer. It is one of the oldest homes in Australia, and its name means ‘rustic retreat’ although it was, in essence, a fortress. Elizabeth Hume’s husband had been murdered by bushrangers.  To protect herself and her 9 children, the house was built in an octagonal shape to provide a clear view of all angles in the case of attack. Often the family had to hide in the cellar which we can see on our tour. Enjoy a tour, wander in the maintained gardens and enjoy morning tea. Next travel to Koonoomoo to visit The Big Strawberry. Anything you can think of that has strawberries in it, they make it here – jams, ice creams, liqueurs, milkshakes – you name it! Time for a bit of retail therapy before enjoying lunch.  Another unique visit this afternoon in Strathmerton for our visit to Cactus Country. The Hall family run business has been a labour of love for many years, which we will hear about before a self-guided walk through this large garden with over 4,000 different species of cacti from Africa, North America, Mexico and South America!  Returning to our hotel we have some time at leisure to enjoy the facilities including a day spa, infinity swimming pool and plenty of leisurely walking paths around Lake Mulwala.

Day 3 (BL): YARRAWONGA TO WAGGA WAGGA – Thursday, 10^th December 2026

Starting the day with a hearty breakfast, we then check out and pack the coach. Next, we join the PS Cumberoona for a morning cruise on Lake Mulwala. The lake was developed in 1939 by the completion of the Yarrawonga Weir, which was part of the massive Lake Hume project to harness the waters of the Murray for irrigation purposes. The Lake is home to hundreds of thousands of ghostly dead gums, tall grey sentinels that remain as a reminder of the past when they drowned with the filling of the Lake. On completion of our cruise, it’s now time to start heading home. We will travel through Howlong, and enjoy lunch from the famous Howlong Country Bakery, before returning to Wagga Wagga and bidding you all farewell.

Welcome to an exciting adventure discovering Tasmania with Priests Coaches. Once everyone is onboard, off we head to the North Geelong terminal to join our Spirit of Tasmania cruise across to “the other side”. We will stop along our journey to enjoy lunch before continuing. Arriving with plenty of time to load the coach onto the cargo deck, we board and find our cabins. The cabins are very comfortable, with twin bed accommodation and ensuite bathroom. The facilities on the vessel are extensive with lounges, bars, shops and viewing areas. Dinner is served in the Tasmanian Marketplace Kitchen before retiring for the evening.

Day 2 (BLD): DEVONPORT TO LAUNCESTON – Thursday, 19^th November 2026

On arrival in Devonport our coach is unloaded, and we head for breakfast at the nearby Argosy Motor Inn and from here we can commence our days touring. Leaving Devonport, we now head to Sheffield and take a look at all the Murals before our first stop at the Ashgrove Cheeses Dairy Door. The new visitor centre recently re-opened and here we can see how cheese is made, watch the cheesemakers in action, or learn about Ashgrove’s unique pasture to plate philosophy in the interpretation centre. Next, visit Melita Honey Farm for some delicious tastings of the produce. Behind the safety of the glass, view how thousands of bees produce honey. From here we head to nearby Deloraine, where we visit Yarns: Artwork in Silk. Then we travel on to Launceston and arrive at Country Club Tasmania for a lovely buffet lunch. This afternoon we join Tamar River Cruises aboard the Lady Launceston and explore the Old Launceston Seaport before cruising to Kings Wharf viewing historic vessels and Launceston’s delightful riverfront precinct. The highlight of the experience is then cruising into the spectacular Cataract Gorge as we engage Lady Launceston’s unique and silent electric drive. View the sheer cliffs and cascades from our seats on this 1890’s style vessel. We’ll enjoy the skippers captivating commentary on the history of this fascinating area. Our day concludes as we check into our Launceston hotel for the next 2-night stay.

Day 3 (BLD): TAMAR VALLEY – Friday, 20^th November 2026

This morning we explore Cataract Gorge, the magnificent oasis in the city, from land. After a pleasant stroll exploring the landscaped gardens, we head to the majestic Tamar Valley. We begin at Beaconsfield where we’ll visit the Gold and Heritage Museum, a place where you can lose yourself within its history. Play with treasures from the past and uncover a different story around every corner. At Beauty Point, enjoy lunch at Seahorse World before gaining unique access into the world of the mysterious seahorse and watch the shy Tasmanian platypus’ going about their daily business hunting for mealworms. This afternoon, head back to Launceston for dinner.

Day 4 (BLD): LAUNCESTON TO ST HELENS – Saturday, 21^st November 2026

Today is a day of delightful scenery as we drive through beautiful, forested countryside towards Tasmania’s East Coast. Our first stop is the world’s largest privately-owned lavender farm, Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm. With our guide leading the way, we see the farm in action on a tour of the flower shed and distillery. Experience a tasting with hints of lavender, before having morning tea and time to browse their extensive gift shop. We then continue through the pristine landscape to Legerwood to see some incredible tree carvings. Nine trees were planted to honour soldiers killed in World War I however in 2001 a report on the condition of the trees showed that they were no longer safe. The community was devastated that their memorials would be lost so it was suggested that the stumps be carved into a likeness of each soldier the trees represented. Eddie Freeman, a chainsaw carver from Ross, was employed to sculpt the masterpieces. Lunch today is at the Pub in the Paddock before we reach St Helens for our overnight accommodation.

Day 5 (BD): ST HELENS TO HOBART – Sunday, 22^nd November 2026

This morning’s touring takes us to the tranquil village of Ross. Discover Tasmania’s colonial history, amongst buildings erected in Australia’s earliest years. On arrival, a local tour guide will step aboard the coach and take us for a guided tour of the town, with time afterwards to buy some lunch. We’ll have a brief look through the Tasmanian Wool Centre, then depart south to Richmond, where the streets are paved with history. We stop to capture the oldest bridge in Australia, the convict-built Richmond Bridge, before we continue our travels into Hobart.

Day 6 (BLD): HOBART – Monday, 23^rd November 2026

Today we head to the Tasman Peninsula and take a drive through “Doo Town” before seeing some natural attractions such as the Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen. A little further along is the Port Arthur Historic Site. The penal settlement has a special place of vivid history, cultural heritage and stories so compelling; you’ll want to hear them again and again. It’s a place where up to 12,000 prisoners were kept in an atmosphere of hopelessness and misery. Even though the Tasman Peninsula is spectacular, you can imagine the conditions, especially on a cold winter’s day, endured by the prisoners 150 years ago. We take a fascinating journey, retracting the life of convicts in the Visitor Centre, before a walking tour through the settlement and a harbour cruise. Leaving the site, we make our way back to Hobart where we can freshen up ready for dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 (BLD): HOBART TO QUEENSTOWN – Tuesday, 24^th November 2026

We say farewell to our hosts early this morning and begin our journey to the West Coast. This area is part of the huge South West National Park, which, combined with the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park, makes up almost a full, one third of the land mass of Tasmania. Of course, much of this area is now World Heritage Listed. We stop at the beautiful Russell Falls in the Mt Field National Park for our morning tea at the Waterfalls Café – and a great photo opportunity. We then continue to Derwent Bridge (the geographical centre of Tasmania) where we stop for lunch at the Wilderness Hotel. Not too far away we visit the Wall in the Wilderness. The “wall” is a work in progress which will take several more years to complete. The panels, when complete, will measure 100 meters in length. In the reception area, there are many three-dimensional sculptures to view. This afternoon, we drive through the pristine wilderness of the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park through some of the state’s most spectacular lakes and mountain areas before the steep drive into Queenstown, a town which was established because of the discovery of gold and other minerals at Mount Lyell last century. Queenstown is surrounded by mountains, which were once covered in vegetation, but which are now strangely bare and stained purple, grey and pink by from sulphur fumes from mining processes. Bushfires and logging, combined with heavy rain which washed the soil away, have stripped many of the hills of vegetation and created Queenstown’s famous “moonscape”. We check into our accommodation and unwind prior to dinner.

Day 8 (BLD): GORDON RIVER – Wednesday, 25^th November 2026

Cruising down the iconic Gordon River is a must do when visiting Tasmania. Our cruise will bring the river and its rich history to life for an unforgettable experience. Cruising the scenic waterways, we’ll listen to intriguing stories of the region, passage through Hells Gates and step ashore Sarah Island to see some of Australia’s oldest convict ruins. We quietly cruise on the Gordon River which gives us a chance to see the famous reflections of the forest against the dark, mysterious waters. The Huon Pine, which can be found in this area, is commonly known to live for 2000 years. The age of an ancient tree recently “discovered” was put at 10,000 years and if verified, will be recognised as the oldest on earth. We have the opportunity at Heritage Walk to see these and other trees of the dense forest up close. We return to Queenstown to relax before dinner.

Day 9 (BLD): QUEENSTOWN TO SMITHTON – Thursday, 26^th November 2026

Today, we leave Queenstown and travel north through the mineral rich mountains, crossing the Vale of Belvoir and alpine cattle country to reach the jagged contours of Cradle Mountain National Park. Enjoy invigorating mountain air as we explore visiting such sights at Waldheim and Dove Lake. Be transfixed by this beautiful glacial lake with remnants of the last ice age etched in the surrounding rocks. Guided through a cool temperate rainforest we’ll see native trees and hopefully, some wildlife. Enjoy a light lunch at the nearby Cradle Mountain Hotel before heading to the sweet little coastal town of Smithton.

Day 10 (BD): SMITHTON TO BURNIE – Friday, 27^th November 2026

This morning we head to Stanley and the Northwestern coastline of Tasmania. Whilst here, we visit the Highfield Historic Site for a self-guided tour of the mansion which many regard as the birthplace of European settlement in the North West of Tasmania. Built from 1832 to 1835 as a residence for the chief agent of the Van Diemens Land Company, Edward Curr, it represents an important part of Tasmanian historic heritage. With outstanding views of Stanley and The Nut, it is hard to believe this area was once a convict enclave, but the proof is all around us in the convict barracks, cottages, chapel, pigsties and barns. Before leaving town, we have some free time to take a ride on the chairlift to the Summit of The Nut (optional and at own cost). Next, we head to Wynyard for some free time to purchase lunch, before arriving in Burnie, stopping at the Burnie Regional Museum to see the Federation Street exhibit and finally arriving at our hotel for the last night on the Apple Isle.

We have a relaxed start to the day before visiting Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden. Wander the commons, immersing ourselves in this internationally recognised garden, classified as a plant museum. The garden should look particularly beautiful at this time of year, so we take our time wandering through. Our lunch venue today is just outside Devonport at the House of Anvers Chocolate Factory. A delicious lunch is planned in this lovely setting, with a chance to look through the retail store. Next, we visit The Australian Axeman’s Hall of Fame, which is a national museum showcasing Australia’s wood-chopping sporting champions – very unique! Tonight we board the Spirit of Tasmania for our overnight crossing back to Geelong.

Welcome to our 8-day tour of Adelaide and Surrounds. This morning we get underway and travel to Hay and take a look at the Hay Water Tower Art. Using the towns Water Towers as a backdrop, Melbourne artist Matt Adante, created a lasting memorial to the contribution of the people of Hay to the World Wars. The Water Tower Art is the latest edition to the Silo Art Trail that has proved such an attraction for regional Australia. Next, we call into the National Shearer’s Hall of Fame – Shear Outback – a monument to contemplate, celebrate and honour shearers and shearing. We have lunch here, then make our way via Balranald to Mildura for our overnight stay.

Browse through fascinating collections of fossils, jewellery, and crystal before travelling across the South Australian border stopping in at Riverland Wine Centre to enjoy a tasting, talk exploring the vibrant wine industry of the Riverland. Enjoy lunch here, before leaving the Riverland, we have a quick look at the Art Silo’s in Waikerie, and then through to Adelaide, we make our way to our hotel for the next 3 nights.

Day 3 (BD): DISCOVERING ADELAIDE – Saturday, 17^th October 2026

Once considered a sleepy city, Adelaide has undergone a rapid transformation with world-class art, music and sporting facilities to discover. We meet our local guide for a tour of the city, and for an excellent overview of the city and its Parklands we make a stop at Montefiore Hill. It was from this spot that Colonel Light planned a great city of the future in the sweeping valley below. Easily seen from the Hill is Adelaide Oval, one of the most beautiful Cricket Ovals in the world. Later this morning we have arranged a tour to the Adelaide Oval. The redeveloped oval offers a unique blend of new and old – from the latest in stadium design to the famous features such as the heritage listed scoreboard, the century-old Moreton Bay Fig trees and the grassed northern mound. We have some free time to purchase lunch at the Adelaide Central Markets and this afternoon we head to beautiful Carrick Hill. Carrick Hill was a creation from the imagination of a man and his wife who decided to bring, to their home city of Adelaide, some of the magic that they had been so captivated by when honeymooning in England. Sir Edward Hayward created a Tudor manor house set in almost 100 acres of scenic bushland. Carrick Hill was bequeathed to the people of South Australia by Sir Edward and Lady Hayward and is now maintained by the State Government.

Our touring today takes us to the renowned wine-producing region, the Barossa Valley. We make our way to the iconic Seppeltsfield Winery, established in 1851. The history of this winery and its owners is truly fascinating, which we will hear about on our tour after which we enjoy a tasting. Onsite also is the beautiful Jam Factory with artisans’ workshops and bespoke retail outlets, and Vasse Virgin, producers of all-natural handmade skin and body care products. Our next stop is the Barossa Chateau. This is a baroque style chateau surrounded by 30,000 roses and filled with one of the world’s great collections of Meissen porcelain, antique furniture, tapestries, and paintings. We enjoy a guided tour around the gallery followed by an elegant High Tea at the Chateau. There will also be time for a wander around the rose garden and look around the great gift shop. Next, we enjoy a wine tasting at Jacobs Creek Visitor Centre, where back in 1847, a young Bavarian immigrant, Johann Gramp, planted the valley’s first commercial vineyard on the banks of Jacobs Creek. After a great day exploring the Barossa, we return to Adelaide where dinner tonight will be at our own expense.

Day 5 (BD): ADELAIDE TO MONARTO – Monday, 19^th October 2026

Departing Adelaide, travel into the Adelaide Hills, to Melba’s Chocolate and Confectionery Factory, where we watch artisans in action as they make their delicious treats! We then wander next door to Woodside Cheese Wrights, who produce an original range of handmade cheeses for us to taste. Next, visit “The Cedars”. World renowned artist, Hans Heysen, settled in Hahndorf in 1908 and built his studio, “The Cedars” in the style of a Bavarian Chalet. This was his base as he painted extensively on site in the hills around Hahndorf and in the Flinders Ranges. Travelling towards Hahndorf – Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement, it’s a superb “flashback” to the nineteenth century with its shops, eating houses and attractions housed in authentic surroundings. After some time to purchase lunch, visit the Beerenberg Strawberry Farm, where we will have the opportunity to purchase from their gift range and the large range of delicious preserves. You may not know, but Beerenberg products can now be found in 24 countries, on major airlines and in more than 300 hotels! Experience South Australia’s newest experience – Monarto Safari Resort, the property features a modern, design-led hotel offering nature-based serenity and unique views of the safari park’s native and African wildlife. Tonight, soak in the last rays of the sun on a guided tour of the Wild Africa precinct after hours from the Safari Truck, you’ll be immersed in parklands and watch free roaming herds of animals from the comfort of the Safari Truck and savouring sunset, drinks and canapes.

Day 6 (BLD): MONARTO SAFARI PARK – Tuesday, 20^th October 2026

Spend the day next door at the Monarto Safari Park, the largest open air safari experience outside of Africa! Immerse yourself in the sights, smells and sounds of the savannah as we travel across the open plains through herds of animals seemingly free to roam – safari style. With over 50 species of native and African animals, the park plays a major role, nationally and internationally, in breeding programs for rare and endangered species. After time for lunch, we’re in for a real treat when we embark on The Lions 360 Experience. It’s Australia’s only 360-degree lion encounter which gives you a prey’s eye view into the world of these incredible predators. Walking through the tunnel, we’ll emerge within clawing range of one of Australia’s largest lion prides. The safe but adventurous encounter will leave us amazed. Returning to the resort we have some time at leisure, why not take in the views and watch for wildlife gathering at the waterhole as you unwind in the resort’s heated pool or bar.

Day 7 (BLD): MONARTO TO SWAN HILL – Wednesday, 21^st October 2026

Today is a travel day as we begin our journey back to New South Wales. Our route takes us past Murray Bridge to Tailem Bend where we join the Mallee Highway to Pinnaroo. Over the border, we continue to Ouyen for our lunch stop before heading east to Swan Hill for our last night on tour.

Day 8 (B): SWAN HILL TO WAGGA WAGGA – Thursday, 22^nd October 2026

We pack our bags one last time this morning, but the tour isn’t over yet. Departing Swan Hill, we begin our journey home through the little town of Lake Boga. Here we visit the Lake Boga Flying Boat Museum. The museum holds more than 500 artefacts relating to Lake Boga’s proud history associated with WWII, including the historic Catalina Flying Boat and a range of wartime treasures that have been preserved for future generations. From here we continue our journey home via Deniliquin for a lunch stop before arriving back in Wagga and bidding each other farewell.

After time to wander the gardens and enjoy the festival atmosphere, we continue to Mittagong RSL Club for lunch before commencing our journey home to Wagga Wagga.

Day 1 (LD): WAGGA WAGGA TO TORQUAY – Monday, 21^st September 2026

Welcome to our spectacular 5-day journey along the world-famous Great Ocean Road. Departing Wagga Wagga this morning, we travel south through picturesque countryside toward Seymour, stopping to enjoy lunch along the way. This afternoon we arrive at the magnificent Werribee Park Mansion, one of Victoria’s grandest historic estates. Built in the Classical Revival style, this impressive 60-room mansion reflects the elegance and wealth of Australia’s pastoral era. Wander through the opulent rooms and beautifully landscaped gardens on a self-guided visit before exploring the adjoining Victoria State Rose Garden. Home to more than 4,500 roses arranged in the shape of a giant Tudor Rose, the gardens are a feast for the senses and a photographer’s delight. From here we continue to the vibrant coastal town of Torquay, gateway to the Great Ocean Road, where we settle into our accommodation for the evening.

Day 2 (BLD): THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD – Tuesday, 22^nd September 2026

Today we experience one of the world’s most breathtaking coastal journeys — the legendary Great Ocean Road. Hugging dramatic cliffs and sweeping ocean vistas, this iconic route tells stories of shipwrecks, rugged coastline and the power of the Southern Ocean. Leaving Torquay, we travel past famous surf beaches including Bells Beach, renowned around the world for its powerful waves and international surfing competitions. We then enjoy a sweet stop at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery before continuing along the spectacular coastline through Anglesea and Lorne to Apollo Bay. Our journey then winds inland through the towering forests of Great Otway National Park to Lavers Hill for lunch. Returning to the coast, we enter the dramatic landscapes of Port Campbell National Park, home to some of Australia’s most recognisable natural wonders. Among the highlights are the awe-inspiring Twelve Apostles, where giant limestone stacks rise majestically from the crashing surf below. Carved by wind and sea over millions of years, this unforgettable coastline showcases nature at its most powerful and beautiful. Continuing through the charming seaside villages of Port Campbell and Peterborough, we arrive in Warrnambool on the historic Shipwreck Coast, where more than 100 ships met their fate along this rugged stretch of shoreline.

Day 3 (BLD): PORT FAIRY & WARRNAMBOOL – Wednesday, 23^rd September 2026

This morning we travel to the picturesque fishing village of Port Fairy, passing through the scenic Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve, nestled within a dormant volcano and rich with native wildlife. On arrival in Port Fairy, a local guide shares fascinating stories of the town’s maritime past, historic buildings and colourful characters. With its charming cottages, historic wharves and relaxed coastal atmosphere, Port Fairy is widely regarded as one of Victoria’s most beautiful seaside villages. Returning to Warrnambool, we enjoy lunch at the historic Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village before exploring this remarkable open-air museum overlooking Lady Bay. Home to Australia’s richest collection of shipwreck artefacts, the village brings the dramatic stories of the Shipwreck Coast to life through faithfully recreated streets, cottages and trade shops from the late 1800s. Later this afternoon we visit the beautiful Warrnambool Botanic Gardens, designed by renowned landscape architect William Guilfoyle. Sweeping lawns, curved pathways and mature trees create a peaceful setting perfect for a leisurely wander. After dinner, we return to Flagstaff Hill for the spectacular “Tales of the Shipwreck Coast” sound and laser show. Set against the rugged coastline, this immersive experience tells the dramatic true story of a doomed clipper ship battling the fury of the Southern Ocean.

Day 4 (BLD): WARRNAMBOOL TO BENDIGO – Thursday, 24^th September 2026

Today we farewell the coast and journey into the heart of Victoria’s Goldfields region. Our first stop is the award-winning Sovereign Hill in Ballarat, where history comes alive in a recreated 1850s gold rush town. Wander the bustling streets lined with traditional shops and hotels, watch costumed characters bring the era to life and perhaps even try your luck panning for real gold at the diggings.

Following lunch at Sovereign Hill, we continue to the grand gold rush city of Bendigo. Here we board the famous Bendigo Talking Tram for an entertaining and informative journey through the city’s historic streets. Along the way we discover Bendigo’s rich gold mining heritage while admiring its impressive Victorian architecture, including the historic Shamrock Hotel and the magnificent Sacred Heart Cathedral.

We begin with a visit to the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre before joining a local guide to explore the beautifully preserved wharf precinct and hear stories of the river trade that helped shape inland Australia. Late morning we step aboard the historic PS Pevensey for a relaxing cruise along the mighty Murray River. Sit back and enjoy the peaceful scenery as we reflect on the wonderful experiences and memories made throughout our Great Ocean Road adventure. Following some free time to purchase lunch, we commence our journey home to Wagga Wagga.
